Your free test needs a different workflow shape.
Zapier Free currently includes 100 tasks/month and two-step Zap workflows.
ALTERNATIVES · DECISION GUIDE
If Zapier's Free plan does not fit the steps or test conditions you need, Make is a practical alternative to evaluate before paying.
Last verified: 2026-09-07 JST. This is not a universal “best tools” ranking. It focuses on the workflow evidence Oravenda actually has.
WHO SHOULD CONSIDER AN ALTERNATIVE?
Zapier Free currently includes 100 tasks/month and two-step Zap workflows.
Make Free currently includes up to 1,000 credits/month plus routers and filters, and Oravenda has hands-on evidence for a webhook-to-Sheets route.
COMPARE THE JOB, NOT THE UNIT TOTAL. Credits and tasks are vendor-specific billing units. Their listed allowances are not equivalent completed-workflow capacity.
A fictional decision story, not a customer testimonial or a product test. A working Zapier setup can stay in place while you evaluate a bounded Make trial.

The reason is not affiliate payout. It is evidence coverage. Oravenda has already completed a controlled Make workflow using synthetic data: webhook receipt, field detection, mapping, Google Sheets row creation, and execution confirmation. That gives us a concrete basis for describing the setup path and its limitations.
| Question | Make | Zapier Free |
|---|---|---|
| How much free monthly usage is listed? | OFFICIAL FACT Up to 1,000 credits/month. A credit is Make's billing unit. | OFFICIAL FACT 100 tasks/month. A task is Zapier's billing unit. |
| Can the free workflow use more than trigger + one action? | OFFICIAL FACT Make Free lists routers & filters and supports visual scenarios. | OFFICIAL FACT Free Zap workflows are two-step. |
| Hands-on evidence on Oravenda? | YES One controlled webhook-to-Sheets route. | NO Not yet tested by Oravenda. |
The listed monthly units are not a capacity ratio. A comparable result would require the same workflow, input volume, and observed usage on both products. Oravenda has Make evidence for one webhook-to-Sheets route, but no equivalent Zapier run.
Oravenda also has controlled evidence for Pabbly Connect in the same webhook-to-Google-Sheets category. Our existing Pabbly Connect vs Make comparison keeps both products' tested observations separate. Use that comparison if both builders support the job you need to test. Keep setup effort and the untested conditions in the decision.
Stay with Zapier if its documented Free-plan structure covers your validation workflow, your team already knows the platform, or a Zapier-specific integration or organizational requirement matters more than changing tools. Switching tools creates its own learning and migration cost.
Low-risk test: recreate one small Zapier workflow in Make using synthetic data, compare setup time, execution visibility, and the independently checked result, then decide. Do not turn one test into a credit-to-task conversion or a monthly-capacity claim.
